Well the speech was pretty balanced until he got to the end where he started lecturing the GOP about "dismanteling government" and "being on a race to the bottom". I don't think he convinced the GOP with his pompous rant there at the bend. He just couldn't help himself. He isn't a politician, Bill Clinton was a politician. BO is an ideologue and it will take him all the way to defeat next November.

The best part of the president's speech last night was that part about math. I thought to myself, "Ooooo! What a great idea! Start using math to be fiscally sound! That is smart! Really, really smart!"
