After reading these post, I can see Jermyn's point. Just this morning on the news, I heard Michelle Bachman and other Tea Crazed people make statements like..."the credit rating of the USA was not lowered in WWII, and other times in history". These statement are correct, this is the first time in the history of our country ..that the debt ceiling was questioned, and not just raised like it had been for all the other Presidents. WHY? When President Obama tried for two weeks or more to get the republicans/tea party to agree, by putting so much of the benefits of the democrats on the table, they still would not agree. WHY? ...Then the S&P lowered the USA credit rating (Who are these folks really), even after it was discovered that they made a 2 trillion dollar mistake, that didn't change their thoughts, then they said it was a political reason....and that is the whole matter in a nut shell, the Tea Crazed folks would not agree to raise the debt ceiling they wanted our country to default...YOU KNOW THIS IS TRUE. ....Funny the other two credit firms kept our rating as AAA.

This was all done so that President Obama would not get re-elected, as the republicans stated that this was their main focus, not the economy, not the jobs, not the welfare of America. The republicans/tea crazy folks rather see America fall before they see President Obama get re-elected...

If a person does not see what is hurting America is the wealthy and big businesses are not paying into our country with their taxes like most of us are, and the bills of our country are getting higher, because the money is not coming in, then that person is dumb when it comes to management of their finances, much more they do not need to be running our government.

Now to answer my question as to, WHY? ...it is because ....his skin is a little darker, after all his mother is white.....Don't say it ain't the reason, if not why was the debt ceiling raised for Bush 7 times, without question, or President Clinton, or Daddy Bush, and the list goes on.

What was that statement someone made...."There's no cure for stupidity!" Oh well let me go on!

In reference to the red above, "What has happened to America SINCE Obama was elected?" DOWN, DOWN, DOWN! or had you noticed Seascape? It's hard to see that with your head in the sand!

Let's see... "Raising the debt ceiling....hummnn", I'm trying to remember, how did "Voting Present Senator Obama" vote on raising the debt ceiling? That's right Sleepscape....oops, Seascape.... he voted against it when someone else was president! Now how could that have happened? Seems like he insinuated that raising the debt ceiling only proved that the President was not spending the money right! Duh!!!

Your so good at pointing out the contributions to the republicans, why don't you tell us who all the contributors were from foreign countries who were never identified that help elect this loser president. Now instead of being president, during, yes, one of the greatest financial crisis that has ever hit America, Oboomer is out raising money from all of his "righteous contributors!"

Seascape, if anything previously that you said was credible, your Racists remarks in your last paragraph just wiped out anything else you said. Get over it, Obama is just as white as he is black and it's folks like you that keep bringing up the subject of his color of skin. Please show me comments that were brought up by conseratives about his skin color. Show me one statement where someone said, "I didn't vote for him because he was black!" Yet you and others can't carry on a conversation without crying about how he's being treated because of his skin color! Oh poor Obama. He needs to get some of whatever Michael Jackson used and he can become a "whitey!"

There are no separate parties, they're all the same. There is no politician, including the POTUS that is working for the people. It's all about their greed. Most of our congress people and senators are attorneys. That should tell you something. The Constitution is worthless in this government.
