Smile Rhoni's rendevous...

Dear AFF'ers,

This has been such a wonderful weekend...I spent it visiting with very wonderful people; Sis. Esther, Bro. Strange, and Chosenbyone.

Bro. Strange gave me advice from years of wisdom, Sis. Diane and her friend Peggy gave me fellowship and fun, and Bro. Chosen was a gracious, handsome, and sensitive man who I enjoyed meeting, worshipping God with, and he even made me a CD to remember him by. Again, I say...it was a wonderful and fulfilling weekend.

I attended church at New Life Tabernacle and Bro. James Kilgore JR taught an awesome message on freedom from guilt that causes an "I owe you" syndrome. It is funny how that even though many Apostolics claim not to support the study of psychology but they use it/the jargon in many of their messages and it integrates with scripture...imagine that!

I stopped to get some gas for my car across from the church and walked into the gas station to pay for my gas and an elderly man with white hair, dress slacks, white shirt, and a pair of fancy suspenders on stuck his hand out and said, "Praise the Lord sister...do I know you?" I said, "I don't think so but am visiting from Dallas and Bro. Strange sent me." He smiled and said, "I know that man calls my name in prayer every day...I can feel it." He introduced himself as James Kilgore.

So...just wanted to say...God is good. I respect Bro. Strange, enjoy the company of Sis. Diane, and was pleased as I could be to worship with my friend Chosen. Just want to say...Thank-you Jesus for being so good to me.

Love & Prayers, Sis. Rhoni

P.S. Did I say that I had a treat? I got to listen to Sis. Thetus Tenney and speak with her after service. She is an awesome woman of God I hadn't seen for a decade. God is good to me...loves me better than anyone!

Rhoni,

Thank you for coming to Houston this weekend and meeting me @ Life Tabernacle. I never imagined that AFF would bring so many blessings to my life. This morning brought that to the forefront when I saw how genuine you were and how you were such a fine example of a loving Christian woman.

I look forward to your next visit and hearing your beautiful alto voice singing praises to our Lord and Savior again.

Bless you.

Dear Chosen,

Maybe we both wanted to see if what we felt on AFF was geniune or not. There were many unbelievers who did not trust your postings. The first thing I said to Sis. Falla when I left Houston was that I felt that your spirit was just as good as I felt on AFF. My spirit witnessed with your spirit that you were genuine, and you have peace in your heart.

For those who didn't think Chosen was real...he is. He asked nothing of me, as a matter of fact...he ministered to me of things that he could not have known unless he was a prayer warrior. He gave even though he was in pain.

For those who don't believe that God can change the hearts and lives of those who who have repented, been forgiven of past sins that you consider worse than others, and they can truly change... Christ gives us Chosen as an example.

Please join Sis. Falla and myself in praying for a miracle for Bro. Chosen. I know that whether he is healed or not he believes God can. Jehoveh Rapha we call on your name...we KNOW you are our healer because you have healed us time and again. There is no disease known to man that you, in your mercy, cannot heal. We are asking your divine favor for Bro. Chosen. Use him for your glory in areas that many of us can't reach. In Jesus precious and holy name. I thank you in advance because I know you are working miracles we cannot see. AMEN.

In God's Grip, Sis. Rhonda

P.S. I sing Alto huh? I hope I didn't sound too bad...I just open my mouth and let it fly...but I am not a good singer.

Rhonda,

I cannot express the emotions that I felt while reading this post. My only desire is to live for God and to help whomever I can as long as the Lord keeps me here in earth.

There has already been a tremendous amount of healing for me. My healing started when I posted that thread in March about having AIDS. I learned that there were other areas in my life besides my physical being that needed healing and the Lord was faithful. I could go on and on about the changes that have occured and the healing that prompted those changes, but it would be just too lengthy.

There were many that doubted me when I stated I had AIDS, but I know that the majority had good reason to not blindly trust someone claiming to have a terminal illness. If anything good would come out of this I would hope that those kindhearted people who were stooped by that person who played on their sympathies could once again reach out to some other person suffering with AIDS.

Of course, I'm not referring to myself for there are so many, many other people out there who have needs much greater than me. I have been fortunate to have some good friends here on AFF that have prayed for me, extended friendship to me, which has made me a blessed man.

I was told several months ago that my life expetency would be anywhere from a year to two years max. I have already made it several months and I have been thankful for each and every day.

I am fighting my battle and I know that I have peace with Jesus. My healing will come one day whether here on earth or when the Lord decides to take me home. It is what I think about often when I am in so much pain.

God is so faithul and true and I love him with all that I have and I look forward to seeing my heavenly Father one day.

Rest in God and thank you AFF for being such a wonderful group of people. I owe you so much.

Chosen

WH,

I certainly have felt many prayers that folks here on AFF have prayed for me. As I mentioned earlier, this experience has brought so many unexpected blessings in my life.

May the Lord bless you during your journey and thank you so much for thinking of me.

Thank God for the blood. Click below and enjoy one of my favorite songs that your post reminded me of:

Rhonda,

Did it turn out alright? I was a bit concerned that it might skip. I know it was quite an eclectic mix of songs, but I thought they flowed well together. Were there any songs in particular that you enjoyed more than the others?

Looking forward to our next meeting.

Dear Chosen,

The CD turned out very well and I cherish it. You won't believe this but... a couple years ago Sis. Barb bought me a Cece Winan's CD because one song in particular she felt was just for me...the song was the same song you made for me..."Mercy Said No". Everytime I hear that song I cry remembering what Christ has done for me. My friend, Christy and I signed that song in church together and the place was shaken with anointing. Then Dora sang and I signed it at a Single's Conference in Cleveland, Texas and the same thing happened. That is my song! My testimony! You only confirmed it!

The other song that I enjoyed was "He Will Carry You" by Christ Church. The songs you put together will definitely guide me on my journey and I will never forget the Chosen one.

Blessings & Prayers, Rhoni
