Re: Lake of Fire *Annihilation Doctrine*
Michael, I had never considered the doctrine of anhilation til now. Sounds very convincing and much better than eternal torment or UR. The only question I have is wether all of the lost will be burned or only the wicked with some reconciliation for the average lost person who wasn't "wicked"?

S.G. Norris taught that some would be sent to the New Earth but not allowed into the city we call "heaven" at the final judgement. I'm neutral on that idea. I can see how you can get there and also oppose it.

Hi Bro,
Its my understanding that God sees all the lost as wicked. I believe in reconciling the lost here and now.

Much better than the final redemption of all of God's creation?? In what way?
The thought of annihilation is truly horrify, and along with ET is completely incomprehensible to the human spirit.

Annihliation is way easier to defend than eternal torment if properly explained.

crakjak, my sympathies are with UR and I'm willing to accept some reconciliation of the lost that are not wicked. I just can't see adolf Hitler or Mao Tse Tung being reconciled. I think annihilation is merciful and has scriptural foundation. Would you be willing to post some of your best scriptures for UR up against some of the best scriptures for annihilation? maybe MTD can respond to your post.

I'm willing to discuss the scriptural basis for my belief in the redemption of all mankind. You could review my post history, it has been done before.

Sis. Alvear.
I vaguely remember the name W.T. Stairs, from many years ago.
