Man listen to you guys and I thought you were oneness, first off he (Jesus) will not longer be know as the son of God. He is God tabernacled in flesh.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (
and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Joh 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Joh 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
Joh 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Jesus is
only the son of God in the fact that he was born of a human virgin. God could have just appeared in a fleshly body but he was fulfilling his promise to David that one would sit on the throne forever of his seed. Thus coming into the world by a women of the seed of David, by both his mother and step father in the flesh.
Jesus was and ever shal be the (physical) temple with which God (spirit) presents himself to mankind today and forever. As we beheld him as the son of God, God went to the cross and gave his life for our salvation.
1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Further he is THE TYPE or example of how God temples within the saints today. By the holy spirit.
