Re: **preacher forums**

Charnock - is it possible that some of the members of the other forum are as much in the dark about these issues as I am?
I have met very few preachers who would tolerate what you have referred to.
I have been in ministerial leadership positions in three churches, have ministers in my family and can definitely say those I know, would not.

That isn't the issue, the issue is, one is your statement accurate?
Two, if you or someone you know has been hurt by any such action, is posting and railing on Ministers going to be helpful or hurtful?
And, is is Biblical what you are doing?

Not a good argument. The accuser has to prove their accusation.
The accused does not have to prove their innocence.
or
"Innocent until PROVEN guilty".

As soon as you stop typing in "types and shadows" I may in fact see what you are saying and agree with you.

And the bolded is a big issue in all this. If you know someone is continuing in sin and have been asked to reveil that to someone that could do something about it, but don't, do you really have a complaint?? Kinda like those that didn't vote, and then complain about how the country is going to hell in a handbasket because of its leadership.

Re: **preacher forums**

Do you realize what a horrible thing it is to accuse a man of false doctrine? To say he doesn't believe the message? To say he hates the Word of God and is giving license to sin because he refuses to teach your traditions?

You will impale a man for those things, and attempt to destroy his reputation, his ministry, his family and his legacy for issues that do not matter, but turn around and extend much mercy to an admitted adulterer who has permanently damaged the reputation of ministers every where, destroyed his family, and fractured his church.

And the only reason you extend such mercy to the adulterer is because he agrees with your ideology.

You love your ideology more than you love your God.

Come one Renda, you are much smarter than that, is the broad brush statement he made about Preachers correct (it isn't) & if it was is airing his/her dirty laundry on AFF the correct way to deal with it?

After all this isn't the Jerry Springer show!

I can, but will not. Not one person has been mentioned in this thread and that's the way it should be.

I hope we can all forgive those that have asked forgiveness.
