Re: Of interest to Bro. Sam...and others
My parents went to Bro. Tetric's church back in the 80's, I'm not sure how long though because we left when I was about 3. I grew up in Bro. Vittitow's church, I remember him to be a very sweet man. I met some pretty hateful adults at the kid's camp back in the day, and he took up for me
Bro. Sam, did you ever preach in Louisville?

They have several churches in Indiana plus a few more in other states. They have a monthly fellowship meeting (I keep thinking I'll get to one but never have) and the New Casltle, IN church is one of the places they hold it. I think Bishop Howard was around 100 years old when he died.
Bro. James Thompson lived in Cincinnati and pastored a church in Carrollton, Ky. I've preached for him a few times back in the nineteen seventies. We even brought a busload from our ALJC church there once for a meeting when I preached. There were three churches in Carrollton, KY at that time. One was UPC pastored by Bro. Cecil Ellison. Not very far East of that was the one pastored by Bro. Thompson, and west of the UPC church outside of town was the ALJC church. Bro. Thompson's church was a split off Bro. Ellison's church. It is now pastored by Bro. Miller who is independent as far as I know and fellowships with the AMF. The one west of town was pastored by Wade Frost at one time (I think). The UPC church there has since split at least one more time with the classic Pentecostal action of one group locking the doors and changing the locks and the other group tearing off the door to hold services.

I remember my Pastor Rev. A.D. Vanhoose in Evansville Indiana mentioning those ministers a lot. Pastor Vanhoose came from the UPC in Illinois from the earliest establishment of the group back in the early forties if I remember correctly. He was asked to leave because he had one of the first radio broadcasts ministries. They said it was the work of the devil.

I never did preach in Louisville.
The only time I went to Louisville was in 1958 or 59 to a wedding. My room mate from ABI, Ernie Breithaupt, got married and we went to his wedding. I'm not sure if the pastor was Bro. Anderson or Bro. Lucas.
I have preached in Carrolton, Warsaw, Newport, Covington, and Perry Park that I can think of right now. Perry Park is the old name. I can't remember what the new name is.

Lead article is entitled "The Mystery of Paul's Ministry- Part 3" by Nevel Searcy (also District Elder of Los Angeles, Cailf. ) Name vaguely familiar to me is Edgar Tetrick of Louisville, KY
Also... "The Apostolic Advocate", July/August, 1964. Published by The Apostolic Ministerial Assc., Inc of Tipton, Ind. Lead article is "The Fatherhood of God in Christ" by Bishop G.T. Haywood. The Board of Bishops include W.R. Coleman (Trotwood, Ohio), Berchett Howard (New Castle, IN), L.R Ooten (also Editor-in-Chief- Tipton, IN ) and J.F. Thompson (Cincinnati). The name Howard Burchett is vaguely familar.
I'll scan and either post or email copies if you'd like.
