I wholeheartedly agree with one exception. If its going to go back to a dictatorship, let's involve ourselves to the point that we end up with a dictator like Mubarak who is our friend for 30+ years versus the possibility of dealing with another like Gadhafi or worse, like Ahmadinajhad. "I feel better about the devil I know than the one I don't" is an old adage that fits here.

DB - due to the way we treated Mubarak, we will never have dictators that regard us as "friendly", again.

The BO admin certainly hurt us with our allies and potential allies. Hopefully in 2012 there will be a regime change here and a wiser foreign policy can undue the damage.

With Hillary Clinton saying Al Jazeera is real news maybe the middle east will like us now?


Seriously, buried in an AP story, (sorry, don't have the link), it's reported the rebels in Libya are actually calling for "Bush". So, maybe a regime change here will help.
