Is it illegal to take weapons to Syria?

It is if those weapons are headed to Hamas or Hezbollah, which has been an established fact of Iran many times over.

Israel will do as always. Appeal to the international community for support. If it doesn't get it, then they take care of the situation themselves. I don't see a problem either way .

Re: Iranian Ships Thru Suez Canal; 1st Time in 32
I want nothing but good things for Israel and for America.
I want nothing but good things for everyone really.
That said, the existence of American-backed puppet dictatorships were bound to end eventually.
If we are going to do anything, we need to do things the right way.
Same with Israel.
If they attack the Iranian vessels unprovoked, then they will have to deal with the consequences. If it gets real ugly, how can we be on the side of the aggressor-- even if it is Israel?
Where is the righteousness in that?
I am glad for the instability in the Middle East.
I want all of the puppet governments and dictatorships over their to fail.
If that means war, then so be it. I hope the Middle Easterners have the determination to fight, bleed, and die for it for themselves-- without much of America's help.
This is the only right way for America to do business.
We value Democracy and the freedom of the individual.
We should extend OUR values worldwide because we are right and our values are just.
Anything less than this would be hypocritical, unrighteous, and not just.

Yep... except for the bolded portions. I am not GLAD for the instability but I do believe it could bring good in the end if we can keep our noses out of it.
The last 2 sentences that are bolded... I just understand what you are saying there so I bolded it too as to not agree with what I don't understand.
But... otherwise... yep.

Wow. So much to answer here.
Instability in the Middle East is going to make---is making life more difficult here. Gas prices are rising as we speak.
The Shah of Iran in 1979 was a propped up leader and the people revolted against him with a revolution and what have we received in return? A WORSE government than the Shah's. Jimmy Carter failed to help the Shah and so today we have a radical Islamic regime that routinely sponsors terrorism and threatens our us and our allies.
How can we be on the side of Israel? Who are we going to side with? Iran? Hezbollah? Hamas? The enemies of Israel? They are the only nation in the region that is a true democracy, with the new Iraq being the exception, they have tried to live in peace with their neighbors only to get attacked again and again.
Democracy is a concept that doesn't seem to resonate in the Arab/Muslim psyche. The vast majority of Arab/Muslim countries are all ruled with totalitarianism. The question is why. Until we figure that out we're better off supporting dictators who are cooperative with us versus dictators who are threatening Israel and America.
