No. I believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is often or usually accompanied by tongues, but not always. A changed life is some good evidence, too.

No...see previous answers.

No, these are man-made rules that can't be supported by Scripture (except probably short hair on men). If someone lives by these standards, that's great. But you can't force others to do the same.

Do I even have to answer this one?

So, does this mean I'm a liberal?
Well, in the opinions of some you would be a liberal, in the opinions of some you would be an apostate, and in the opinions of some you just represent some of the beliefs of some Apostolics

Re: Survey About Doctrinal Beliefs

: Do you believe that water baptism must be done in the name of Jesus and that any other baptism is not a valid baptism?

Yes, because only Jesus died for me.
If you want to say "In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost," that's fine.
As long as you know that "the name" is Jesus, then you are on your way to knowing him.

2: Do you believe that the infilling of the Holy Ghost is evidenced only by speaking with other tongues?

It's not the only evidence.

3: Do you believe these things are absolutely necessary in order to be saved and ready for heaven?

Yes.

4: Do you hold as a core value the basics of traditional pentecostal holiness which is: Men: full length pants, shirts with sleeves, short hair, Women: uncut hair, no makeup, no pants, shirts with sleeves?

Yes for the men, because I consider shorts and sleeve-less tops to be worldly.
Yes for the women, because ( in my belief ) cut hair in the sight of God is as though she shaved it.
And wearing make-up can entice men to look at you, which most women wear it because of this.
Look at the reason Jezebel put it on for Jehu. Wearing make-up to me is worldly too. Same goes for sleeve-less shirts.
The rest I left out on men and women are explained in the book.

( I generally would exclude make-up all together, but I know a woman that wears it because of the red-ness of her face. --
You cannot tell that she has any on. I know she's not doing it for someone to look at her. --
If there's nothing wrong with your face, then I would get the impression that you want someone to look at you. )

5: Do you believe a trinitarian will go to heaven?

Let me re-word it:
If they convert to Oneness and Obey Acts 2:38.
( Meaning One numerically. )

If they convert to Oneness, I do.
How does one "convert" to Oneness? To what articulated Oneness version of theology should they recite?

I meant switching over. They can recite though.
There were men that made confessions in the book.

Re: Survey About Doctrinal Beliefs

The message articulated and defined by Acts 2:38 is the only way to make it to heaven. Argue with it...deny it...ridicule it..doesn't matter. Obey it or you will go to hell and be lost for eternity.

Before some of the "hardly-anyone-is-going-to-hell-crowd" pounces...Speaking truth with boldness does not equal a judgemental attitude... Simon Peter, Paul & even Jesus said the same thing the same way.

Nope... but to compare yourself to Simon Peter, Paul and Jesus is very judgmental. You are judging yourself as worthy to be mentioned in their company...

I'm not a Universalist myself, however I don't think crakjack's viewpoint "denies the truth of the justice of God."

Crackerjack just has a different opinion than you do when it comes to the final outcome of God's justice.

Personally, I tremble too much to think that I could pretend to dictate to the Almighty just how He should dispense of His Own affairs.

Some of us would like to discuss our values without being made fun of, that's all.
Is Opie Deuce going to respond to the many answers that he has received? What's the point in starting a thread and putting up a questionnaire if you just ignore all of the responses?

Doesn't that verse mean 3-steppers are accurrsed... either that or every Christian for the last near 1900 years is accurrsed?
