You cant be this blind.
Ferd states his beliefs are the same as what is stated on this forum and you call those beliefs "sacred cows" and you dont see the insult in that ?/

Apostolic is a biblical word. Not one made up in Hazelwood. You can't have it. It's been trademarked by an Body bigger than you and your organization with its manifestos and creeds -- The Church.
Bitterness? I was waiting to see how long that would take. I'm quite happy, thank you. And please embrace the Whole Gospel, and Whole Word, and quit pretending Acts 2:38 is the Gospel and the entire witness on the subject of what NT believers did.

Just because someone uses the word Apostolic doesn't mean they are Apostolic. I can call myself a New York Yankee, doesn't mean I am one. The pope calls himself Apostolic too so big deal.

debate is great. diversity does make a forum. you cannot have one without it.
but what it "means to be Apostolic" should NOT be up for debate.
NOT because I have a definition that I want used....I had no input on the forum rules that are clearly stated...
BUT because Apostolic needs to mean what it was intended to mean. the rules are clear enough and broad enough to include both you and I. And we ought to all be comfortable with that.
You and I dont agree on how one becomes saved, but by the defintion of the rules, I am perfectly fine with the idea that we are both Apostolic.
the forum has moved beyond this. that is the issue. it wont go back... at least I dont think it can.

He is saying that because the Forum has set the rules, it shouldn't be debated as to meaning.

Actually, Scotty, I didn't call his beliefs sacred cows because they were beliefs. In the context of him saying certain things should not be debated, I called those sacred cows. Where's the insult?
Are you trying really hard to find and catch me doing something? Am I bothering you, Scotty? Just report me. Let Admin handle your wannabe witchhunt.
I've delivered insults before, I know how imperfect I am. So stick around, you'll catch me soon!

Which I disagreed, and called those "sacred cows."
All things are open to debate. And they forever should be. And because of that sensibility Protestantism, Wesleyan Methodists and Pentecostals have a theology.
