You see why it is difficult to participate? You are not "respecting" Ferd's beliefs, only yours. That is not unity. And, really, that is the bottom line - respect in disagreement. And for the record, I believe that should be the position of both sides. IMO, we don't have enough of it.

I don't think anyone here is actually lying or mocking per se. People speak from their own perspectives. I try to look past what OP says to what he believes.

When people make something off-limits, it's referred to as a Sacred Cow:

I was taught that everyone in the UPC had come to the "unity of the faith". I assume that's what you believe. But what if it didn't really happen that way? What if PCI people felt pushed out by people who told them they were hell bound?
