Calling them "sacred cows?"

Report me, if you think so. I don't get your point.

You see why it is difficult to participate? You are not "respecting" Ferd's beliefs, only yours. That is not unity. And, really, that is the bottom line - respect in disagreement. And for the record, I believe that should be the position of both sides. IMO, we don't have enough of it.

They left at different times, usually en masse.

Have you heard of, or considered reading, "Christianity Without a Cross" by Thomas Fudge?

They died, they fizzled, they fell by the wayside like the tares, whatever terminology you'd like to use. Yes, I've read the book and its a worthless piece of paper filled with bitterness and revisionist history. Thomas Fudge has an ax to grind and I don't take him seriously nor the people he quoted or interviewed.

I don't think anyone here is actually lying or mocking per se. People speak from their own perspectives. I try to look past what OP says to what he believes.

From the very first edition of the post-merger Pentecostal Herald, 1945.

I can actually "site" (sic) history to prove my point, OP. So far, you've just been making things up.

Sure, OP. Whatever you say.

That must have looked incredible. You know, to see someone just fizzle, fall like tares (are you a farmer?) and perish right in front of you.

If I did something wrong, I apologize. It would never be my intent to offend or hurt. If this is in reference to anything I've said, please forgive me.

I probably should have chosen another name. I think several have confused me with someone else. I had an account before but I used it very little and when I decided to jump into a discussion yesterday, couldnt' remember my old username and had to start over.

It's factual -- and true.

Ferd says "Apostolic doctrine should not be debated."

When people make something off-limits, it's referred to as a Sacred Cow:

noun
Something that is beyond criticism.
I don't get the concern.

I was taught that everyone in the UPC had come to the "unity of the faith". I assume that's what you believe. But what if it didn't really happen that way? What if PCI people felt pushed out by people who told them they were hell bound?
