The thread goes on to speak that both this and regular birth control pill can in rare cases affect a fertilized egg ... it is not the designed intent.

Re: Morning After Pill? Sin? Abortion? Contracepti
It's so close to murder. I would imagine that a person who is pro-life would be against the use of this pill.
If a person takes this pill knowing that they might be pregnant, causing a miscarriage, it is nothing less than abortion.

My thoughts as well.
I would need assurances that it only prevents fertilization, and will not cause a fetus to die.

It is my understanding that it will cause a fetus to die, when taken early enough in the pregnancy.

Then it's not "the morning after" pill......
It can take up to seven days after intercourse for sperm and egg to join and become a fertilized egg.

Yes, if taken when you are supposed to ... as with regular birth control pills you will not inadvertently affect potential fertilization.

Sorry for not reading all 240 posts first but surely someone has pointed out that is the way many "birth control" pills work.
Not in preventing fertilization but in keeping the fertilized egg from attaching to the womb so that it is discharged.
