High Tax States Lose Population, Influence
In the recent Census the bureau discovered that states with high income tax lost population, thus losing Congressional seats to states with no income tax. States like Texas, Arizona and Florida grew in population and gained seats in the House of Representatives. These states have pro-business tax policies that have drawn companies to relocate within their borders. As a result Americans have migrated to these states to find employment and enjoy the lowered cost of living.
The states with no income tax also do not have the levels of financial problems the high income tax states do.
The lesson? Lower taxes for businesses and individuals is the best way to build a strong economy! Its elementary...
