There are several of us "grace" types around. I prefer to see grace as a sovereign act by Almighty God. There's nothing "greasy" about it.
SG Norris was said to have coined the term "greasy grace." It may have, indeed most likely was already in use in some way, but he seems to have been the source for our use of the term.
I've actually come to respect Norris' use as I think I hear some irony being expressed by him, even humor. It is unfortunate that a later generation spun the whole thing into the pejorative that most of us associate with the term.
I'm glad that you've taken it up with some humor.
