Midi Files?

Greetings, Folks!

New to AFF but starting with a bang.

I play keyboard and have enjoyed sequencing gospel songs for years but it is at times a bit time consuming. I've found many areas on the web where midi files are available for exchange, but...

I'm looking for midi files by Pentecostals. Not that they're better, but our songs are what I like. A great midi of the Doxology isn't really going to do a lot for me.

Any tips on midi file collections, areas, websites, etc.?

Thanks!

John - Thanks!

The Rutledges are old family friends, my Dad and Ren's were near the same age and both pastored in Arkansas together. Dad was always proud of the outstanding musician that Rendall became. I'll get in touch with him - thanks much for the tip.

God Bless!

Does your dad still pastor in Arkansas. I am not far from White Hall which, I believe, is in the area where Ren Rutledge once pastored. I am not from this area originally though so I could be wrong.

He is my pastor, I am sure he will be delighted to hear from you!

Re: Midi Files?

Digging For Truth; No, my father no longer pastors. He pastored in Pocahontas and Walnut Ridge, very small municipalities in North Eastern Arkansas when I was around 3 or 4; at that point I think Pastor Marvin Rutledge was in Jonesboro. Years later Bro. Rutledge senior pastored nearer central Arkansas; and now his son is in New Jersey, I think; the north eastern states for sure. And Rendall, the son, is a very good musician; keyboard, vocal, trombone perhaps...

And that's, as Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story.
