Church Family needs prayer

I'm not sure if I should mention this family's name publically. But please pray for this family in my church. Their daughter, about 30 or so, just committed suicide I am told.

I've known her since she was a girl. She got married and moved away. I heard that she had gotten a divorce. I am in pain for her family...two brothers and parents. I am in pain for their loss and especially under such circumstances and for my own grief which pales to theirs.

I know what it is like to lose someone and under frustrating circumstances and can only imagine what they are going through. Please pray.

Thank you

O Mighty God, in the precious Name of Jesus,

Although we have experienced grief in the loss of children,

we cannot imagine the grief this family is feeling. But You,

Lord Jesus, who tasted death for every human, do understand.

We would humbly ask that you would wrap Your arms of love

around this family today and in the days ahead as they face

the reality of this tragedy. Thank You, Lord Jesus, that they

do not have to face it all alone, for You will go with them, one

day at a time! Without a shadow of a doubt, Your grace will be

and is sufficient!! Thank You, loving Father and Faithful Friend!!

Thanks. My pastor and wife were not in church last night. I believe they went to the other city where this happened. This is a really sad and trying time. I know death in the family. I remember when my dad died I was almost non functional. I was so stunned and depressed some things I just could not do. I usually put my own needles in at Dialysis and I had to have someone else do it.

But this is a little different...dealing with a family member that took her own life and someone that was practically raised in church but was not going to church. Who knows all the thoughts and emotions going through the family's minds.
