I remember another candidate for Y: the continents (according to some young-earthers, I kid you not) were still connected before the flood. And continental drift happened very, very rapidly, during or after the flood (not sure which, or maybe both).
surely the correct answer is quite mundane. God can make followers from rocks.
Hmm, most likely God just prompted...'seed' animals? Animals that would evolve into what was needed, into the ark? a donkey could become a kangaroo in a few hundred generations, no prob.
Well, you would have to suppose another big miracle to claim such evolution within just a few hundred generations. (Which is the point of my game, so I thank you for playing!) The Cenozoic Age (an explosion of diversification of mammal species) began 65 million years ago, and kangaroo-similar genus at least 25 million years ago. Not sure when donkeys arrived, but safe to assume they did not evolve on a very close branch with kangaroos (except to say the mammalian branch.) Or maybe (another miracle, Y) God planted an intentionally deceptive fossil record just to fool scientists whom He knew would not want to believe in Genesis after they discovered the fossils--biologists who would decide to use scientific parsimony instead of Bronze Age sacred writings to interpret biological history.

I would not lie in my signature description, kinda like someone else who said, "I esteem Thy (my) Word above Thy (my) Name" or something to that effect. But if you refer to the nature of term "atheist", then okay, that merely refers to someone who says there is insufficient evidence to believe in any of the gods. Very few atheists claim there is zero percent chance of a god existing--merely very, very low chance. But we still keep an open ear for new evidence. BTW, as a point of courtesy, I only talk obvious "heresy" here on Timmy Talk, because Timmy is a well-known and well-liked (or to some, tolerated) agnostic on AFF. When I post in other threads, that is in hope to say something useful or interesting to currently believing Apostolics. See, having believed in the JN apostolic message with all my heart and mind for 21 years, the theological memories are still very readable in my "hard drive", and I'm able to toggle back and forth.
