Re: Oh joy - A Motorcycle!!!
I had a Suzuki GS1000. I found myself on a long straight stretch one day running 80, dropped it down into third gear, then worked my way back up.
I looked at the speedometer and was going 132 mph. It hit me, I was 34 with a wife, a son, and a mortgage. If a frog jumps up in front of me, I'm dead!
Sold it, bought a Gold Wing. Still riding a Gold wing, but will probably trade it this year for a cruiser.

Yeah my son told me that he was riding the other day on his Ninja and he looked down and was doing around a 100. Really makes me feel good.

He was telling me how fast this lovely thing will go and then said, with his mischievous grin, - "But, I haven't tested it to the limit yet."
Lying. I knew he was lying!!!

Re: Oh joy - A Motorcycle!!!
You know I grew up riding with my cousins, barefoot with no helmet on old country gravel roads!!! I would just freak out if my kids did that nowadays. I don't know how my parents survived back then.

Yeah he'll get one after I am gone.
The boys decided it was time to buy 4 wheelers so I decided if I can't stop them I will join them so my husband and I bought a 4 wheeler. But I draw a line on the motorcycle
At least I am trying to. Maybe I need to pray more
