She is referring to all arguments presented by the Prosecution. Apparently, she doesn't have to go into detail. However, it is important to note that in criminal cases, such as this, you always expect a Motion to Dismiss to be denied.

The Defense already knew that is what she was going to do. You can see that, especially, when West gave his arguments for acquittal. He rattled out his facts for the record, giving the impression he did his part, knowing she would do hers.

I think it is advantageous for the Defense to bring their case. They will have much more leeway as the witnesses will be their witnesses and they won't be hamstrung on the questioning process.

IMO, O'Mara did a great job setting up Jentel, TM's mother and brother for reasonable doubt. I hope he puts them back on the stand. He can come at TM's mother carefully this first time, but he walked a fine line with the reasonable doubt and I believed he achieved that.

Even if some may not have caught it, he will bring up law enforcement not being present in the Mayor's office and questioning her more on her not being aware of what she was about to hear on the 911 tape prior to her visit with the Mayor. But I took special note that he looked very much in doubt that Tracey had not spoken to her about the tapes prior to that meeting. He may have some information on that. She looked a little doubtful herself at the questioning.

I ran across this article. It's concerning GZ's bond money he, initially, was supposed to be withholding. Another issue brought up to paint GZ as a liar.

It's interesting because, in one interview, someone asked O'Mara how he and his team got along with GZ. His response seemed to indicate they had their moments. The information in this article (first link) may be one of them.

Anyway, the issue with the bond money - O'Mara says that GZ was afraid and feeling betrayed by the system. Even though I think it was bad judgment on GZ's part, I can understand after the media circus and the death threats, how he must have felt.

Another thing that is important to note and doesn't look good for the Prosecution. After a long day, especially, after the ME's testimony -eesh! LOL! - after the Judge hands down denial to dismiss, she asked the jury if they want to hear any of the Defense witnesses that day. They say, "Yes".

Not good for the Prosecution. They know that O'Mara and West are methodical and it gives the impression that they have more confidence in the Defense. Just my observation.

At this point, I am ruling Hung Jury. We shall see after the Defense makes their case.

Plus twice now the defense has got a recess twice on weekend/holiday with a big finish for the jurors to think on for a few days..MOM and West are the bomb...

It was mentioned several times during the acquittal hearing that the bias is legally supposed to favor the Pros. Burden is on the Def, instead of Pros.
