Jesus is God, so I celebrate God's BD because celebrating Jesus' BD means I believe Jesus isn't God.

So you believe he was translated while ascending into Heaven? I remember something about Jesus telling someone not to touch Him because He hadn't been glorified yet, but I also remember something about Him appearing to His followers in a closed room before He ascended. How could He have done that if He hadn't been glorified yet?

Even if Christ's humanity ended ,wouldn't He still be the Son Of God ,since mankind can still be redeemed ,since the office of the Sonship was for the redemption of fallen Adam's race ?

I added "or maybe even at his resurrection" to my post, as after thinking about it a moment, I am unsure the exact time of glorification, or even what glorification entails. Someone wiser than I will have to step up to the plate on this.

Ya know, this may actually be a good topic for discussion around here, on a separate thread of course. I know it interests me as well. I have asked people if they believe God is reigning in Heaven in that resurrected body (never on a forum like this, though)and gotten mixed results.

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Ti 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
As the God our Father, he is eternal. As the man, he officiates in His redemptive office as the Son of God. Though inextricably ONE, yet offices differ.

It was the day that angels rejoiced and proclaimed "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.", and signs where manifested in the heavens. The Prophets had prophesied, and the Messiah was born. The redeeming lamb had finally come.
This is worth shouting about!

That's right.
I can say that as of next month that I've had 67 birthdays? No, not really. I've only had one. That was 67 years ago.

Well, I really don't claim to be all that wise, but we all know that his humanity went into a higher dimension of existence after his resurrection. I personally don't know too many folk that can lay their bodies down in the grave and raise it up again into a life that will never die, do you?
I don't know too many people that can walk though walls having closed doors, speak to some of his followers who handle him, who claimed to be possessed of flesh and bones. Nor anyone who, in this state can eat honey, fish and anything else he desires yet disguise himself before those who know him best walking and talking with them for a long way toward evening. How many folk do you know have the power to just rise up into the air having been enveloped with a cloud and disappear out of everyone's sight?
In his glorified state he declared that he had been given...(notice the word given because it indicates something that he did not have before he was glorified) ALL power both in heaven and in earth. In short, he had gone into a higher dimension of power, dignity and majesty.
According to John, when we see Him, we shall be like him but certainly not God accepting worship, nor shall we have all power given to us. Nor can we say that we alone overcome the world, death and hell, as he did.

I am trying to dig a little out of you here.
Does this scripture deal with Jesus still posessing humanity now? or does it speak of his work upon the cross as kinsmen redeemer??
Even though he has a glorified body (the resurrected body), I look at Jesus as having disrobed his humanity, and taken up deity he possessed prior to his birth. If not, what does he mean when he prayed, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was."

His humanity will never end. Neither will mine or yours.
