Re: FBI Director Comey 11 AM (ET) News Conference
Comey testifies that Hillary's interrogation was not under oath nor recorded.
Comey also defended her, years ago, with Whitewater.
Nothing to see here. Let's clear this out in the middle of summer and move on for the fall election.

Romney lost because he played softball with Obama who had plenty of vulnerabilities. As far as healthcare is concerned, I don't think anyone who understands politics believes that Romney would've pushed for an Obamacare like system nationally. But that's not the only area we lost when Obama was reelected. The economy, national security, foreign-policy, religious liberty, same-sex marriage, illegal immigration, etc. have all been losing efforts recently for conservatives in many ways because Obama was reelected. It's highly dubious that Romney would've offered the bully pulpit, the political support, and the influence of the presidency in like manner.
So "sticking to your principles"---which I would define more as flawed stubbornness---ends up causing conservatives way more losses under Obama than under Romney.
I wasn't happy with Bush and his handling of the economy, expanding Medicare, and running up the national debt. But he governed the war on terror much to my satisfaction. So I can be content with his presidency even though I have criticisms. Had Gore been president? Unmitigated disaster. A president Kerry would've done far more to upset me than W. Imagine eight years of McCain. Do you think he would've not been much different than Obama? Four years of Romney?
If you believe to the contrary then it's evidence that you have a blind spot in your "principles". That blind spot is shared by many. That's the reason Romney lost. You and those that vote like you stayed home on "principle". Give power to those who have nearly ZERO in common with you in spite of electing someone who agrees with you 40%, 50%, 60% or more of the time.
It's mystifying.

Seriously? So that meeting between Clinton and the FBI was, as someone tweeted days ago, just for appearances. This was likely decided before that interview.

Re: FBI Director Comey 11 AM (ET) News Conference
Can Comey be impeached?
In and out of court hearings, unable to watch. Reading tweets and to call this a dumpster fire would be a complement.
I thought Comey was a smart guy. The FBI completely bungled this case! Which shouldn't be surprising, knowing that they've bungled several terrorist threats as well.

You keep arguing this view and you keep losing.
Many Conservatives stayed home because they didn't trust Romney and wouldn't violate their principles. Jeb wanted to find out how he could win without us. That's what you are doing - trying to win without the conservative base.
Keep trying....
And you might want to note that even though the US Constitution is for ALL people, God is still the ruler and owner of every soul that breaths on this earth. And the scripture still stands for EVERY American - "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." Psalm 33:12
You can't get around principles and call them a "blind spot" weighing that against the Word of God, my friend. And NO presidential nominee (including Ted Cruz) nor elected representative will be able to bypass that either. I don't care what religion they claim.

He defended Clinton at Whitewater, so that explains a lot, doesn't it?

I agree. He is obfuscating throughout this whole thing. It is totally amazing to watch. I am still listening to it. He keeps saying that she didn't have criminal attempt, which he based this investigation on. LOL! One Representative commented that Comey said that Hillary didn't have the expertise to know how to handle the server, but the people doing it for her did.

Yep, Trump was right. The fix was in.
I can't believe that it was not under oath.
Incredible.
