No.
Consider this however, those who don't believe in speaking in tongues often argue the very same point. You see, the problem isn't that our subjective spiritual experience rescinds Scripture... it's that their "interpretation" of Scripture doesn't allow for the spiritual experience.
It's much the same here. One's interpretation of Scripture might be so "religious" and bound by Zondervan publishing that someone who has walked in the spirit and discovered additional insight is easily viewed with contempt.
The mystic, if that's what you wish to call them, is rarely understood... like the prophets before them.

Re: An Angel Highway?
I'll ask the questions again for our local heresy hunters....
The Bible speaks of the angels that "sinned" being bound in "chains of darkness" ( 2 Peter 2:4). What did these SPECIFIC angels do to warrant being presently bound in chains of darkness while so many other fallen angels, including Satan himself, continue to be allowed to roam the spiritual planes?
Obviously Peter, the writer of II Peter 2:4 knew.
Now, if Peter was BOUND strictly to SCRIPTURE regarding his spiritual knowledge... where does SCRIPTURE record these angels as "sinning" a sin against mankind so terrible they'd be bound in chains of darkness while Satan is allowed to roam free?
Please answer.

You've made some good points here, Aquila. I like your second paragraph the best!
However, I differ a bit on the last paragraph. I've been used in the gifts for years and I never think about angels, etc. It's just God working in me, directing me, telling me what to do, say or understand. I don't find that "mystical" in any way. It's just the power of God. He doesn't need me to perform any of these things, but I'm glad He's chosen to do so. I don't glory in that at all.
I've never encountered an angel. I just stand by the mantra - "Let God be super and I will be natural."

Is Peter speaking of supernatural angels or something else?

Why do unclean spirits possess human beings? Do you know? Have you ever cast one out? Do you even KNOW what you're dealing with?
Please explain if you do.

And you know these things Aquila? Enlighten us on these things and on how you came to this knowledge...

I respect that you don't ever think about angels. But with all do respects... what if some doctors never thought about a given field of medicine? Sure, it may be an obscure field with a few specialists, but is it not valuable? Or should we shut those doctors down because the average doctor doesn't specialize in their little known or more obscure field?

Yes I do know this thing jfrog. But I've asked YOU, the reader, to answer these questions.
You tell me... or admit you don't know.

I've been called a "mystic" so I understand what you're saying. But as for your questions, what does any of that have to do with what Stoneking is propagating? What does it have to do with one guy's angel showing up at a conference that Stoneking is preaching? So does Stoneking have a personal angel? Isn't Barnes' angel invading on Stoneking's angel's turf?
Where is there anything in the bible about ever identifying one's "personal angel"? According to the bible, there are angels. But we don't know much more than that. He's making a theology, a doctrine, out of something that isn't even in the bible. This isn't an argument about what we should speak at baptism. This is far different. This is taking something that doesn't exist and making a doctrine out of it.

Peter wrote,
2 Peter 2:4 (King James Version)
4For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
You tell me.
