You may hopes that the Repub will take back the house, but I kinda doubt it. This country is on a downwards spiral.

What used to be a great country is now a shell of what used to be.

Financialy it is in trouble.
Military strength has been gutted.
Politically instable,

We will see what the next 10-11 months hold.

Meanwhile, stockpile your food, water, and ammo! You might need it!

Every Administration has stepped on the Constitution in one way or another. But when orders are given we dont have time to stop by the local legal library and research the constitutionality of those orders. We rarely know what the "ultimate" goal to a mission is, just our "objectives" that make up the goal. Either way, those who give the orders will be doing so as the courts "interpret" the constitution to fit their needs, just as they do now. So its a little more complex than your statement.

I understand that you are given orders and are not told all the reasons way.

Would you follow an order to fire on U.S. Citezens that were against an Administration yet for the Constitution?

Would you perform Police duties in the U.S if Martial law is declared because an Administration decided the Second Amendment didn't really mean citizen could not own weapons and they must be confiscated?

Re: 2nd US Civil War

Here’s how I see a possible uprising in the United States playing out.

It will not be over abortion. It will be over taxes, the Second Amendment, and property. Should the government ever get to the point where it’s legislating laws that restrict our Second Amendment rights, overburdens corporate interests with taxation, and uses immanent domain laws to seize private land and property we will see pockets of people take a fearsome stand. I think in the day that happens we’ll see major corporations hiring PMCs (Private Military Companies) to engage the government to preserve their interests. In that day the arms race will be between private corporate powers (fighting for their freedom, wealth, and property) and the socialist/communist forces of government attempting to seize their assets for the benefit of government. Corporate interests might seek to acquire WMDs and that could get real ugly. Since private military companies and the corporations that would employ them are outnumbered, they would seek to enlist the average American in their efforts to secure their wealth and establish power. Prayerfully these private powers would seek to maintain and uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and not seek to establish their own fascist corporatocracy.

Again, this would only occur in one of two circumstances. 1) an uprising by a group of extremist (in which case yes I would). 2) an all out revelutionary war (in which case a side would have to be chosen)

Would you perform Police duties in the U.S if Martial law is declared because an Administration decided the Second Amendment didn't really mean citizen could not own weapons and they must be confiscated?
Again, if martial law is declared soley on the basis of enforcing a wrong interpretation of the second amendment I believe that too will lead to all out revolutionary war in which a side would have to be chosen
You can not place "what ifs" in this discussion. Its simply impossible. Your second statement can again be answered by the first. Are we talking about a couple hundred thousand people rising up against this interpretation of the second amendment or are we talking about a couple million ? Is the uprising organized with a central "governing body" who actually have a plan that is feasable to implement when/if they win or is it a bunch of people fighting for something with no "tactical" direction ? Is the majority power behind the movement better than the current government ? Would we be better off in the end ? (remember, KKK, Skinheads as well as Black Panthers and most organized crime also support the second amendment in its current interpretation, choosing the lesser of two evils will not be an option in this scenerio)
