I was once in an Apostolic church where the sound was almost Death Metal or maybe like Marilyn Manson sound. I noticed one young lady shucking and jiving as hard and vigorously as she could to it. The words were almost indiscernable. After service, I noticed the same young lady in her car with an (what I thought to be) an Alice cooper CD cranked up realy high. She was still shucking and jiving to THAT TOO. Words of a song did not matter to her...IT WAS THE SOUND.
Now, none of the statements above related to the services either of the two nights that I was at camp.
I only bought ONE black shirt...not plural. See how things get screwed up?
Further, I don't know of any O.T. prophets that wore black shirts. Black is a modern expression of mourning.
I don't know how I could be any more clear.
But then, maybe I could have stated specifically which comments were directed toward the camp and which were in general. But, who would have guessed that it would not be perceived? As a reader, I would have had no problem with it. Unless, the text specifically stated that a comment was directly related to the camp, it was not. There is a wide range of experinece noted in the text, some of which is of a general nature.

Brother, maybe you can then just be more specific and admit that your posts are confusing and misleading. Someone asks about the music and demons at POA and you deny hinting the devil was involved but then you make a post that sounds like you were but later claim you were not speaking about POA but in generalities. I can see how people are getting confused now. They can't read your mind. Perception is not the issue. Clarity is.

You can really feel a horrible horrible spirit that knows exactly what it is doing. We better shake ourselves and recognize some heavy heavy spiritual matters that are speedily taking place.

Uh....you are here on a forum that is on the internet....

He never did explain to Timmy what he meant on this thread. He just kept saying he wasn't because Timmy would not understand....sigh

Go ahead make fun, do you think you'll be held accountable one day soon, for every word you have said and written?
Yes I am on a forum on the internet, and I've been over riding conviction for quite a while now.
I wonder how many others have too.

You are going against the conviction you feel in your heart intentionally? Is this a man made conviction or did it come from God? Seriously...why be on the internet or on a forum if you believe we should NOT be on them???

I have to say this today since I am from Louisiana. All my favorite preachers are getting old and retiring and dying.
Who remembers the missions service in the mid eighties where T.W.Barnes got up
and gave a prophetic message that God was speaking to each of us there and going to give us sure direction for our lives? They raised money that day to build a church building for a group of saints who were worshipping under a grove of trees.
God is good.Aw the memories.Maybe that is what Brother Strange is talking about.
Anyone remember Louisiana Day when Brother TF Tenny wore that western shirt with the boots and we had such a wonderul singing and a sky diver came down on the camp grounds? Those were the days. You had to be there to remember it.
I can hear the voice of Brother Dees and the Rodenbushes and Sister Manguns
singing still if I allow my mind to drift back.
How about all night prayer in the little chapel? I wonder how many preachers felt the call of God come over them there in an all night prayer meeting.God is so good.
What about all the sessions Brother Treece has taught over the years? Hey Spring is here no more for many.Does anyone remember old Sister Cox sitting up front
all dressed in white? I would always try to get one of the younger sisters new babies for her to pray for.I liked to sit up there when I was in my twenties even though it was for elderly folks just to sit with her.Come on now.Things have changed. Some for better some for worse.God is still good and He still works in wonderful ways.

Prax...
If you have to be told in words, you would not understand. Someone would have to speak in a heavenly language...but then, you would have to have an interpreter. Doubtful that will happen.
So, as I said to Timmy. You would not understand.

Bro Strange, just a little thought for consideration.....
Maybe the next time you want to start a thread similar to this one, you will think it through a little more. Words are what you used....and it seems to me that you were pretty clear in what you were trying to convey.
If we ALL missed your point, then that's really a shame.
Sure can cause a lot of misunderstanding when we don't make our words clear. What a hornet's nest.....lol

Brother Strange YOU opened this cans of worms and I think you should be clear. Who and what??????????????????
You cannot indict folks as being under demonic influence then go off on a fishing trip. If you felt this explain yourself. I have never been and the distance makes it where I probably will not go. They have the same type meeting at Indy and I don't go there the distance you know. In general in what I have seen around Pentecost I tend to agree with your analysis.
