Because it's part of their upbringing in their culture. If they were born in India they would be Hindus, if it was Pakistan, they would be Muslims. They have been brought up with a Catholic ritual that was handed down through their different Christian movements. So, they defend the undefendable.

Who started the thread? Why do some Christians waste so much time trying to tell other Christians they are wrong?
I respect that several don't believe in putting up trees, but don't understand why they keep wanting to try and convince us that don't have a problem with it that we are wrong.

Sis, I think the way it works, is that if a person replies to a post, the other in turn replies back? Right?
Sis, do as you please, I can't convince anyone, nor am I trying to do so.
People comment to a post, and I reply. Some really funny comments have been said here, like "people love to live in misery?" I mean, what's up with that? Or, "You're trying to show that you are more holy than us." It has nothing to do with that. I reply when I have someone reply to me. I thought that's what makes it a forum.
