Oops.......

Exclusive: 2 women accused Herman Cain of inappropriate behavior
In one case, POLITICO has seen documentation describing the allegations and showing that the restaurant association formally resolved the matter. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range.

If TODAY'S Democrat Party is FOR MINORITIES, I'd hate to see what damage they would inflict if they were actually AGAINST MINORITIES.
The Democrats have done a lot to help minorities and all Americans in the past but their agenda today is more destructive than positive and it has been that way for a while now.

And this kind of retort doesn't, generally, turn out well. We will see how it develops. I report, you decide.

Yes, he has a little problem with giving direct, transparent answers to questions. It will hurt him if he doesn't clean that up. (Sort of like when he was asked about his border fencing comments.)
If he was accused and the allegations were found to be baseless, then he should answer with that. "Yes, it was alleged, and after my company's human resources department investigated the claims, they determined the allegations were baseless and the woman's employment was terminated. Since I wasn't in the wrong, I got to keep my job." Etc.

Wonder why they asked him to resign as CEO in 1996? Very strange that, today, Mark Block (Mr. Weird Ad Smoker) says, ""I am not personally aware of any cash settlement relating to sexual harassment charges to Mr. Cain."
You are his Chief of Staff and you don't know about any of that? I find that hard to believe. His campaign is just getting ready weird.

I take issue a bit with the wording of the article I read. It's ambiguous. To me, it sounds like the women who made the allegations were terminated and given severance packages. That isn't the same thing as a "settlement", and it looks like the media is trying to twist a severance package into a settlement.
So it is possible he was blindsided by the idea of any settlement. If they were terminated, especially if it was directly related to the harassment allegations, he should have known.

This is what we do know:
1. Cain was accused of sexual harassment by two women.
2. The women were paid off to take care of the issue.
3. Cain has denied he ever sexually harassed anybody.
On point two, you could have a couple of scenarios. Either they paid them off to avoid a senseless lawsuit or the women got paid off because it would have cost them money, time and airing their dirty laundry for months or more.
I worked for a company where the Office Manager made a sexual move toward me. I can't remember today what he said, but he walked up to me, took my necklace between his fingers and made a suggestive comment. When he wouldn't pay me my commission, I sued him for sexual harassment. He coughed up that paycheck pretty quick. I dropped the suit after I got my money. LOL!
The way they hedged about it all, yesterday, is just weird. That's what he gets for going after Perry's rock, implying racism without checking the facts, at the hunting place they leased. What goes around comes around.
