And how do you know this?

I'm very sorry to hear about your mother Aquila. I mean that sincerely.

And the Bushes have always been a bit too "liberal" for me - starting with Sr. But that's what you get when your own views don't garner enough support to win it all - you have to build coalitions. That's how I've seen the Bushes - as people who got on board to help prevent an even more liberal administration from continuing it's 100 year strangle hold on power.

I still have not seen any credible evidence that persuades me of the scary conspiracy stuff. Joseph Kennedy was US Ambassador to the United Kingdom from the time of the Munich Conference. The US finally called him home when he tried to arrange a secret meeting with Hitler during the Battle of Britain.

But nobody ever talks about that any more. That plus the guy founded the Teamsters Union with the trucks he used to move molasses and bootleg gin for Al Capone. Or that Hollywood movie starlet who died after sleeping with him.

No, instead we say that we want his scion and spiritual heirs to care for our loved ones when they are old. Sadly, our hopes are misplaced. For just like Federal workers and Federal officeholders get free and lavish government paid health care benefits - all seperate from Medicare and Medicaid; so also will it be under nationalized healthcare. When there are doctor shortages and funding cuts you will find that you are the victim of neglect this time, because frankly Teddy K. needs your kidneys and liver more than you do. In fact, he deserves them more than you do.

I just pay attention.
"Now, we can see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order. In the words of Winston Churchill, a "world order" in which "the principles of justice and fair play ... protect the weak against the strong ..." A world where the United Nations, freed from cold war stalemate, is poised to fulfil the historic vision of its founders. A world in which freedom and respect for human rights find a home among all nations.

The Gulf war put this new world to its first test, and, my fellow Americans, we passed that test."
- President George HW Bush, March 6, 1991
And....
"The regime of Saddam Hussein cultivated ties to terror while it built weapons of mass destruction. It used those weapons in acts of mass murder, and refused to account for them when confronted by the world. The Security Council was right to be alarmed. The Security Council was right to demand that Iraq destroy its illegal weapons and prove that it had done so. The Security Council was right to vow serious consequences if Iraq refused to comply. And because there were consequences, because a coalition of nations acted to defend the peace, and the credibility of the United Nations, Iraq is free, and today we are joined by representatives of a liberated country." - President George W. Bush, September 23, 2003
These guys are globalists who are working to strengthen the power of the UN and the New World Order.

Democrats are Nationalist Socialists.
Republicans are Globalist Socialists.

And those IL "accomplishments"... just pie in the sky proposals - many of which went down because even the liberal controled IL legislature wasn't willing to go that far.

But again... what about that terrible corruption of the Bush administration that you were going to tell us about? Your only response was a tin-foil-hat conspiracy reference and a plug for Obama. Where's the substance for your claims?

Re: Is the Media Unfair to McCain?

I was once a Bush supporter and received a lot of flak from a lot of people because of it. My biggest problem with Bush is not that he is evil, but that he seems a bit incompetent and weak and I am not convinced that he is the ultimate decision maker or policy setter. In terms of evil, I do believe that Cheny is and that in the future we will find out that he wielded unprecedented power and was the ultimate Commander in Chief. JMHO

I disagree. If you research it...growing numbers of doctors are leaving to practice in socialist countries with universal health insurance. One reason...they don't have high malpractice insurance to defend doctors in courts. They have regional health care courts where health care professionals evaluate the performance of doctors. Also they don't have such redundant paperwork procedures. Doctors spend WAY too much time filling out paperwork.

I have friends and family in Canada and for years now my wife and I go there nearly every year (accept this year, we go to San Fransisco, at no cost to us, praise the Lord). I always invite people who fear universal health insurance to come to a Canadian forum and discuss this with REAL Canadians with me. Most don't take me up on it. lol

America's health care system is far worse than most realize.

Read the back of a $1 dollar bill. It used to be one of the mottos of the United States.

"Seclorum" is the Latin word from which we get "Secular" and hence "worldly." It might also be transloated as "Ages" however.

"Novus Ordo Seclorum" A New World Order or A New Order of the Ages.

Only those with aluminum colanders for hats saw anything sinister in the fall of the Soviet Union, which prompted Bush Sr. to say what he did. You didn't support the USSR, did you Rico?
