I have always ... respected and admired your postings .... CC1 ....
but how can this be if I've been off this forum for over a month and half now?
Having lurked at the NFCF ... this place was tame ... compared to the antics seen over there.
Are you saying Danitis .... expelled the cons?
Surely you and I know there's more to this dynamic than pegging the soap opera this has all been on ME.

T, I'm shocked at your words in this thread, and yeah I know you deleted them all, not everyone else did.
Actually, I'm beyond shocked into hurt. You know the "other place" is my home on the web. I don't fit in here and I won't even pretend to try. That doesn't make anything wrong with AFF, or with me. No one forum will ever be home for everyone. I had no idea your thoughts were quite what they seem to be.

To blame DAN ALICEA is wrong, CC. Sorry, I have to strenuously disagree with you here. You're my good friend and you were there for me when a lot of folks were simply giving me lip service at a very hard time in my life. I love you and appreciate you.
Now... To blame it all on Dan is not a very "big picture" thing to do.
For what it's worth... I distanced myself due to the way I was treated by certain members of the admin team who are no longer here. NOT because Dan told me to go.

I said "part" of the exodus, not all of it. There was an accumultive effect that took it's toll over time.
You were a very prolific poster and this situation did not happen overnight. Without a doubt there are others that contributed to the reasons many conservatives and ultra cons have either left or are not posting very often. However you defiinitely are the king when it comes to the qty. of that type posting.
I think you are an intelligent person and I am sure we share many views. You just have not been very tactful in the past.

Good to see ya posting! See my reply to DA. I do not blame him singlehandedly. The overall quality of lib posting has gone down at AFF over many months. Many just seem intersted in tweaking conservatives and being offensive to them. That is very unproductive.
