UHHH.... I was doing well to let Epley's and Truthseeker's post go by without comment. But this is more than I can bear...

The blood of Jesus caused the curtain in the Holy of Holies to be rent in two. We now ALL have access to the throne of God.

Wives can approach God directly. Thank you very much.

That is very true. Amen.

The more pertinent word would be that man is head of the family and the wife in divine order of authority. Priesthood implies those who go to God for others.

All in all, God is still a HE. That is no metaphor. He is a MAN OF WAR. Not a lowly man. He is deinfitely not a SHE, but a HE. That is the inspired word of God giving us those terms.

True, the husband is the priest of the home ihas not bible, but God being described in masculine terms sure is.

Priest was not the correct word for me to use. I think you know me well enough to know that I do believe in the priesthood of the believer whether they are male, female, or Michael Jackson.

I should have said men are the spiritual head of their household.

True but what does this have to do with the subject of God being a male???
God is NEVER called a she or her!!!!!!

Mary's baby was boy not a girl. Sorry.

If he made men and women to compliment each other, and we are both in the image of God, how can that be possible, if there is nothing of feminine characteristics in God?
Still waiting for someone to answer that

Also would like someone to address this...

Bro. Epley, Bro. Blume, Bro. OP, and to all others, please answer my questions above. Because if there is no feminine characteristics in God, and if women were not made in the image of God, then to be female is to be lesser, is to be unworthy, is to be nothing but a vessel to birth more men.

Man is the Image and glory of God and woman the glory of man. 1Cor.11:7

God is not a hermorphadite! God who is Spirit became MAN NOT woman. Get over it. It is a Man thing.
