And something nice to look at. I see no problem with a christmas tree. I do not worship it. lol. Again, it is not against anything in Jer 10.

Paul ate meat offered to idols, but refused to do so only if it offended someone. It was just meat!

What we observe is a Catholic bastardization of the Lord's Supper that was instituted ceremoniously to accomodate large masses of people in the Roman Catholic cathedrals.

Amen, thus my point is should be held like it is supposed to be done on passover! Not the fertility godess and all the othere pagan junk thrown togethor and we call it Easter!

However, let's assume you're right and the date is purely pagan. Christians aren't a passive group of scared children running from shadows. We've got a mandate to take spiritual ground for Christ. That means taking all things under the dominion of Christ. Paul wrote....
Romans 14:4-6
4Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant?

Antipas, the scripture that you are presenting is dealing with Jewish feast days and not paganism. Jews were to keep their law until the destruction of their temple. After the temple is destroyed the law system was finished.

You are using the scripture out of context concerning what we are discussing.

No but I felt pretty good after drinking that full bottle of Morgan David.

That was in the fridge for communion for the next Sunday service..

I was 10 years old.

That is what they get for having me clean the church on Saturday...

Got a little kiddy buzz and a spank from the pastor... My dad...

So what's wrong with a golden calf? What about placing a calf in the middle of the living room and calling that the decoration equipped with flashing and blinking lights?

The tree is the same as having an eight armed Shiva in the living room, or a carved Woten with a jeweled forehead.

But to everyone who knows what it represents it is stupid that Churchians celebrate a Roman Catholic sacrament and then mock the Catholics.

What irony!

I bet the priests, Jesuits, and the Pope himself would be rolling on the floor holding their stomachs with tears in their eyes, after reading the above.

While you sit under your xmas tree.

What confusion, and the interesting thing is you all won't see it.

They should see you after a late night posting after you hit the warm milk.

Yep, I got a whipping.

But my family told me it was really funny hearing me try and sing as my dad spanked me.

He should have waited a few days.

From what I remember, I did not feel a thing....
