You said you don't have to vote for Trump in your own state. So, why are supporting Trump now?

Re: Why Ted Cruz is speaking at Convention
How have I supported Trump?
Oh, I get it. I have supported Trump by questioning anything that is said negative against him, that does not have a factual basis.
I have occasionally defended BHO the same way.
But I surely do not support BHO.

She wants trump to lose so she can feel validated. She's secretly afraid he will actually win. That's why she keeps campaigning against him.

You've also defended Trump when the facts were there. You just didn't like or agree with the facts. To claim you've only defended him because things were made up is untrue.

He has co-opted the Republican Party, not being a Republican. He is a Liberal Democrat pretending to be a Republican. His children are not registered Republicans. He needs to lose for the sake of those Conservatives who want to preserve there party. Are there Rhinos in the Party? Yes! But, there are good people who want to try and turn the party around. Is that hard? Yes! In a conversation with one of the delegates, he said that it is hard work, but we must preserve the party and fight for it. He said they did that for Reagan and we can do it again. Trump needs to lose, and it has nothing to do with being vindicated.

Re: Why Ted Cruz is speaking at Convention
The GOPe is all in for Trump. They want him to win to ensure conservatives aren't able to take back the party. It's ironic, considering Trump claimed to be against the GOPe.

And that is the point - keeping out the Conservatives.
We can do a little reaching back during Romney's run to find it also true. It's funny that a lot of the Ron Paul people (who now support Trump) were incensed over this in 2012, but are okay with it concerning the Trump campaign.
Quote:
Romney's "RNC Power Grab": What Really Happened
Yesterday, the Republican National Committee in Tampa adopted some changes to the rules of the national Republican Party that shift power from the state parties and the grassroots to the RNC and the GOP presidential nominee. Former Governor John Sununu of New Hampshire touted the new rules as providing “a strong governing framework” for the party over the next four years. But in fact the new rules should be very troubling and disappointing to conservative grassroots activists, because they move the national Republican Party away from being a party that is decentralized and bottom-up toward becoming one that is centralized and top-down.

Re: Why Ted Cruz is speaking at Convention
Cruz will probably do what most conservatives and republicans are doing: he will essentially say Trump isn't his favorite, but it is more important to defeat Hillary and prevent her from getting those Supreme Court picks than it is to be a sore loser.
I'm still very conflicted about voting Trump, but the idea of a Hillary presidency is so atrocious I may end up voting for the giant orange fraud. But to see PO and nDavid's "White Knight" endorse Trump would possibly make my week. LOL. Oh how many ways can crow be cooked and served?
