Just for clarification- it is not Dan's forum, there are actually five co-owners and a team of moderators.

It is also, repeating yet again, NOT intended to be a rival for this or any other forum.

Personally I consider AFF to be my mothership. With a single exception I met all the other owners through this forum. (And that exception was the one who introduced me to AFF)

I have no doubt some questioned when the AFL was born, or the second TV station was started. But things turned out just fine.

I believe the relationship between the forums will be closer to symboitic than antagonistic.

Be blessed .
Thanks for admitting in your last post that there never was a national link between the terms AI and CI and that you personally had the experience of A church in Michigan which used the term 20 years ago. (Attended by "hundreds" of people.)

I also hope you have now had the chance to send an email to DKB expressing your dismay that he would use the term- Apostolic Identity

The above quote is the only one you did not respond to. Something in it disagreeable to you? I am sure it was a mere accidental oversight.

After all mutual respect and phileo is the goal here right?

This thread had nothing to do with the other forum or it's name, yet when you guys bring it up I am "shamed" for observing that there is nothing original about the name at all - except of course your ongoing desire to hurt conservative causes.

"Unprovoked"

On another note... when the hard core ultra cons descend on your haven of rest and call you a "Liar" Do you have an App for that?

You are welcome. From the beginning I clearly stated what my exposure was - even in the first post.

I do not e-mail DKB, but yes Apostolic Distinctive would be a much better choice. I never did like AI for the reasons in my thread opening.

I did not respond because I did agree. It was the rest of the post that was muddy.

Right. As I first made clear with best wishes to you and yours.

At the time several Apostolic ministers adhered to the tenets Christian Identity. Their religious fanaticism either marginalized the Jews and other "non white" races or openly named them as children of the devil.

With the recent resurgence of the apostolic Identity term and attempts to redefine the same, it brings questions about those who propagated the Identity message - even while licensed ministers of the UPC and other Apostolic churches.

I know the government was cracking down hard on these groups and the "Identity" ministries who propagated the teachings. Does anyone know the current status of these Apostolic Identity ministries?

At least one of these was located in Michican, and had close ties to the better known Pete Peters and his Scriptures for America http://www.sfaw.org/
Wow! Thank you for this. I went to a church that taught this. I remember hearing this stuff when I was little and as an adult trying to put the pieces together of why this was taught and were they got this stuff from. I remember respectfully disagreeing with a member when I was around 12 about how there was no way this was what God wanted.

Yes, completely unprovoked. I was clearly referring to your statement of "so little time went into that" (speaking of the naming of the forum). "You guys"? I posted here only to say, "No biggie, not interested in a fight." Following the original post in this thread, you have questioned the name, said that very little thought went into the name, and here in this post, claim that we have an "ongoing desire to hurt conservative causes."

Those are two negative statements about our forum that I won't return fire on and will only say, that I love and value AFF and after initially being angry at what I first witnessed here (which I believed was the character-assassination of people close to me), I've become one of the most active participants and admirers of the community of this forum. I have nothing but kind words, respect and admiration for the community of AFF and wish only the best for this forum, in which I hope to continue participating.

Re: Identity Movement

Alrighty then. Time for NOW and HOOVIE to lead singing."I love you, you love me we're a great big family" followed by group hug and holy kiss.

Actually, I think that was a typo. I thought Hoovie meant, "So [a] little thought went into that." It fit with the context, since he was saying that the name was chosen deliberately. Perhaps he can clarify. (The original statement was "So little thought went into that.") Thought, not time.

Oh, ok. Well, James and I have both pointed out that statement and he hasn't corrected it. But again, for me none of this is more than a bit of a head-scratcher and wondering, "Why?", not World War III. I do see some clear contradictions but...I like AFF and I like what we're creating at AI. I just have a heart full of love!

Yes, I saw that, and it made me second-guess my original assumption about the typo. I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Bless you and your heart full of love.
