However, poor sentence construction, together with the reader not properly interpreting what is said, often genders an attitude by the reader. Then the fur will fly in a cat fight.
The genesis is found in poor sentence construction, misinterpretation of the reader and then a hostile audience that will take up the cause. Hence the literary domino effect.

Poor grammar or not, I do not see the need at any time to insult someone with such a word as this.
Indeed, there is never any need to insult. It loses the argument and ends discussion. The reply is simply emotional and not thought processed.

Also Boom,
There are some who I simply ignore entirely because in my humble estimation they are a waste of bandwidth.
Some of my favorite posters are not neccessarily those that I agree with all the time. Obviously, some of my favourites are the ones who think like mindedly but there are others who I enjoy reading who I regularily disagree with.

Interesting list that sadly is missing Tim Landry. His writing was some of the best I have ever read on the web, and his recollection of actual event in AP was superb! Yet, he also can be saved in my mind!
I do not think you are lost due to some here you see as lost posting here also.

Boom,
Tim would unquestionably be on that list, sorry for missing him. I really wasn't trying to make it an all-inclusive list just a few lately I have enjoyed reading. I don't post much anymore, certainly not like I used to but I do read a lot of threads and these are some in the last few months that I have enjoyed.
Sadly TL hasn't been around in quite a long time.

Agreed.
Then, is Admin predisposed to allowing some insults from some and not from others? Why do I see far less benign posts and threads deleted while others are deleted that seem to be very harmless?
I do not see the need for insults from anyone. Why is it given a pass, if that is the case? Maybe I have never come to understand what is acceptable/unacceptable evidenced by what is/is not being deleted. Either way, it matters not to me. I am only wondering out loud.
Anyway, I am glad that I did not see that thread or that post.

My answer and it's only mine is that the Admin team is so diverse in itself that I don't think there is any conscious favoritism being shown. HOWEVER, we are not all here 24/7, so it does affect what gets caught and what doesn't.
That's why it is so important that the posters need to report what they feel is wrong, then we all can discuss it and make a decision.
I think it is wrong for posters to "pick" their side admin and pm them to death trying to get something done. It puts undo pressure on that admin and is unfair to everyone.

I'm sorry renda. I'll quit trying to get you to ban all the conservative posters.
