Well not much of any of those on the shows I watch. But yes it does bother me to watch any of that, so I don't. I can always change channels. The commercials have more of that than the shows I watch.

Re: For those that watch TV

Brazil is popular for Soap Operas…they have Tv´s in the breadstores the little corner bars and even vendors have them with whatever they are selling on the streets...and who would you guess you see in public places watching soap operas???
MEN...
I have never got used to the thought of men standing in the bars or in the breadstores glued to a soap opera...

At least in America, men are men! They stand in bars and breadstores watching their favorite NFL team massacred on the field!

LOL...the answer would be NONE of your business. Do you happen to be the reincarnation of my mother? If so we need to talk, if not then keep the questions to yourself. If you want to post about the topic of the thread do it if not then stay off the thread.

Re: For those that watch TV

What, no Sci-Fi? Am I the only Trekie here? Actually I now enjoy Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis far more than any Star Trek series and I have all but the current season of Atlantis on DVD. I'm also looking forward to Stargate Universe coming out next year.

I will admit that I had some issues with the last few seasons of SG-1. Maybe it's because I realize that many people in the world view us apostolics like the Ori Priors preaching "Origin"

As far as I'm concerned, ALL sports can be (Note, I'm not saying "should be")banned from TV. I just don't buy into all the hype. I’m sure some of you would say the same about the sci-fi shows I like but that’s just the way I feel about sports.

Re: For those that watch TV

Walt never misses an episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. He LOVES the show!! In fact, we're watching a rerun of it right now. They have CeCe Winans on here doing a concert to raise money for this family in Mississippi. I have to tell you - if they were building me a new home and doing a fund raiser with CeCe and I couldn't be there - I would be sooooooooo mad!!!!!!! They could keep my house! Just let me go to see CeCe!! She is my FAVORITE!!!!!!

ok, back to TV ---- my favorite show right now is Ghost Whisperer. I think that the new season is supposed to start this Friday. I hope so anyway!

other than that, it's things like Antiques Roadshow, and the real life murder shows that are on during the day. I like a few of the cooking shows, but they're getting old. Once in a while, just for the laugh, I'll turn on one of the court shows like Judge Judy or the People's Court. They crack me up!

I have noticed that when you throw a rock into a pack of dogs...if you hit one it yelps...looks like I hit a couple on this thread.
