The thing i like about McCain, he may not be conservative nor liberal. He may be in between or moderate. But he is anti government. That is what I like. He has no love for government bueracracy. It was that same bueracracy that left him in a hole an ocean away. Have you ever known a veitnam vet. have any love or agreement with government ? He may not vote the way we like, but votes to get something done.

Also , lets not forget that he predicted not only the success of an increase in troops on the war, but also predicted the economic downturn we are currently in. Wonder how we would be sitting had they listened to him on that one too ?

sadly my friend, I am afraid far too many people will buy what is being sold that Barak will cause the seas to stop rising and will heal all that ails us.

Barack Obama is a free wheeling spender of my tax money, but so is the Republican party. There is no fiscal conserative to the Republican party anymore.

Ahhh, yes, Bob Barr. Almost the Libertarian party persuadest me to join them. But I don't agree that drug use doesn't hurt anybody else. Those hard drugs are instantaneously addictive, and cause people to be willing to harm others to get their drugs.

Don't get me wrong, Iraq and profligate spending are serious issues.

I just cannot bring myself to pull the lever for a man who drive his wife to an abortion clinic to get an abortion in 1983.

And I've gone round and round with the principled vote versus the stopping vote thing. I was really considering writing-in Ron Paul's name.
