Sis. Falla.....

I've been sick with cold, sore throat and fever - headache - since Tues. I'm feeling good enough today though to go to work. Thankfully.

Sounds like the same thing. I woke up Mon. morn. with a sore throat,

head stopped up, headache, chills, and haven't felt like much since,

but I have tried to "be still and know" that He is God. I know He will

take care of you and I, for we are His! Doesn't that just give you the

"warm fuzzies"!!

Had the best Bible study in the wee hours this morning. Seems He is

so near and it is as He is teaching me by opening my understanding

to things I am studying. In Isaiah 54:13, "And all thy children shall be

taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children".

It refers to John 6:45, "It is written in the prophets, And they shall be

all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned

of the Father, cometh unto me". I always like to read two or three verses

before and after the verse or verses to get the point of what is being

said. It is by the Holy Ghost (the Spirit of Truth) that we can listen and

learn!

Sis. Falla.......

The day before my husband got back from his trip to Egypt I took some kind of bug where my head was aching and I ached all over, had a temperature and the day he got back I'd even been feeling sick to my stomach part of the day. Now that is very unusual for me because I just don't get sick to my stomach and haven't since after my last pregnancy which was a long time ago now.

I had been so achy for a couple days and couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I was thinking ..... "Guess age really is catching up to me!" LOL!

But then the day after TB got home I was feeling fine again and I thought, Nope, guess it's not the age thing after all. What a relief!" Hehe.

Then this week I come down with this other bug. I haven't had a cold for at least a year and a half and maybe longer. But the worst is over and I'm feeling pretty back to normal today.

God is good!

Sounds so familiar to me. Haven't had even a sniffle I don't think in a

year or two. but many here in the church and out, have had it. But thank

the Lord Jesus, I got to go to church today. Several of our grandchildren

and my brother just next to me, was in the Easter drama, which was very

good. I kept my cough drops and tissues handy and made it fine. Just got

home and tired. Hubby fixed us a bite to eat and I need a nap!

Yes, Sis. Felicity, God is SO good!!!
