I agree with MP when he said, "This is a discussion forum where people come to present ideas and learn other viewpoints. If it's done tastefully, it can be of great benefit, especially to people who feel uncomfortable discussing such issues with people they interact with on a daily basis."

I believe the subject is being broached in that manner. I don't have a problem with it.

It's been a bit "borderline" at times, but I think overall, most of the posters here have been careful to be circumspect tasteful, and respectful, in dealing with the topic(s) at hand.

And of course, those who are offended can simply choose not to look.

So far, there have been no verified instances of anyone being forced at gunpoint to look at any of the threads here on AFF.

I believe I shared on another thread how naive I was when I was in Bible College. The girls who worked in medical records gave me education through pictures and what they were told. I was engaged and asked my mother if we should have "that discussion", and she said, "Don't worry, it comes naturally". I didn't believe her then and still don't!

Out of line doesn't begin to describe this "mandate". This is something that should be between a husband and wife and not commanded from the pulpit. It's an abuse of authority and sick.

I would want to avoid that spirit like the plague!
