He also has one of the "outcast" boys.
There is a whole list of people who have escaped this cult. They in return have been rescuing young girls out of these compounds and helping some of the boys that are outcasts. Their are about 5 different places where they have these communities. In Utah and Arizona the state had pretty much left them alone and returned these girls back into abusive situations. One of the fathers molested 5 of his girls and got 12 days in jail. Another man brutally raped a 4 year old and got 180 days. The father of the 4 year old beat the man that raped his daughter and got 12 years. They all had the same judge. Explain that one.

Some of the parents from the Utah Arizona community were pushed out of the community and their children were reassigned to new families. Of course they kept their property also. They believe that some of these children have been relocated to the ranch in Texas.

Flora Jessup has been working to bring these things to light for a long time. I believe she has also been in contact with the authorities in Texas before the raid. They have been watching this place for a while. The 18 girls that were older that they initially interviewed gave CPS enough information for them to believe that the children were in immediate danger.

Some of the problems they are having with these young boys that they are casting out of the compounds are that they are sodomizing very young children. Where would they learn that if this lifestyle is so wholesome?

A few names to google are: Flora Jessup, Carolyn Jessup, Ruby Jessup, Laura Chapman, Debbie Palmer, Jennie Larson to name a few.

This ranch in Texas isn't isolated it comes as a branch off of Colorado City and the Arizona Utah communities. They have also branched off into Mexico and Canada.

Re: Whoa! Polygamist solution is frightening...

Couple of interesting points...

The Mormon church is denouncing ANY kind of association with this FLDS sect. Apparently there was a church split, and the two came from the one org. I heard that the FLDS sect consider the Mormon church to be compromisers, and backslidden, and that THEY have continued on to be the 'true' church.

Sound familiar???

And...

The judge has ordered 175 adults in the sect to submit to DNA testing. As of last night there have only been about 2 dozen that have come in to be tested.

Re: Whoa! Polygamist solution is frightening...

I also saw on the news two of the sect's men with a woman in a sit-down interview.

One of the men stated they did not know anything was against the law, and that they would do anything the judge told them to do to get the kids back. Counselling, parenting classes, whatever.

I wish I could see that again because the guy said he didn't realize anything was illegal. As in, what they were doing was illegal. Wouldn't that be a bit like admitting guilt right there? They WERE doing something illegal, but that they just didn't know it was illegal?

I would like to hear the question asked of him, and his response to it again just to make sure.

The Mrs- That sounds to me like a desperate parent talking (without the assistance of an attorney). He is saying whatever was wrong, they want to right. It was never their intent to break the law (if they have).

It is likely the same reaction any other mom or dad would have if their children were ripped from them without warning and kept by the court system because the court thought "something" wasn't right.

I have done a tiny bit of research on the case and will be back later with some interesting and revealing information.

Newman,

I saw on the news today that they are desperately looking for lawyers to come down there and work on one of these cases. They realize it's going to take a TON of lawyers and teams. They're even offering housing for anyone who wants to volunteer.

I'll be honest with you - if I were a lawyer, I think I'd turn from this as fast as I could. But I still thought I'd toss it out there for you.

You could very well be right...I was glad to see them saying that they would be willing to do whatever it takes. But am wondering if they are willing to change enough of their lifestyle/religious convictions to pacify the CPS/Judge.

Hopefully they will for the sake of the children.
However Jeff Warren's niece said the women that were crying and saying they just want their kids back is just part of the script. They were smiling and laughing with her but as soon as they saw a camera they started hugging her and crying and saying they just want their children back. Evern Warren Jeff's wife ( her aunt ) was smiling, and it made her look completely different.

If I were an attorney, I'd jump at the chance to get involved in this case. It's going to make history, when it's all said and done.

Generally speaking most lawyers can only practice law in the state(s) they are licensed in. So out of state lawyers are unlikely to be packing their bags.

Hmmmm. I was not aware of that. I thought a license to practice was good anywhere in the States. Guess ya learn something new every day. Still, if I were an attorney in Texas I would jump at the chance to get involved in this case.
