Are they anti-literal communion? .... or do they just believe there is a spiritual communion ... as well ....

I see no harm in seeing communion on a spiritual level.

They don't take literal wine and bread for a symbolic communion service.
I used to preach at a ind. Bread of Life church in Louisville,MS a few yrs.ago.

Is this really a salvational issue ....? I mean on both ends ....? Are they jeopardizing their salvation for not partaking in literal communion ? Or do they see us that do as jeopardizing our salvation?

Most of the bread of life Christians I know don't see it as salvational. You can belong of The Associated Brotherhood Of Christians and observe literal symbolic communion ,as they have members that do.

Dan,

I don't see it as salvational one way or the other. I do know that Jesus said "as oft as you do this" but that raises the question... as oft as you do what... come together to eat, come together at the time of Passover celebration, or what?

Following a strict literalist view I would say that there is a requirement for celebration of the Passover supper in rememberance of the TRUE paschal lamb offered once for all.

I feel that, while it is nice to have the celebration as a public rememberance, we should be continually aware of the sacrifice of the cross and live our lives according to the rememberance of all that was accomplished there.

Looking through the site and the section on Presbyters, I found "Texas - Bishop David Fuller." Is this the same DF that was a UPC pastor in Atlanta, GA?
