Light - no matter how much money you give the government it will never be enough, they will spend it all.
The company I work for is the largest non-military supplier of the federal government. When the federal year-end rolls around, we get ready for very large orders from them.
The reason - if they don't spend all the money they are given this year, they will be budgeted for less, next year.
Great way for our tax dollars to be used, right?

On the backs of the middle class? Seriously? First 50% of Americans pay ZERO taxes. Second, the government is the one taxing the middle class not rich people. Rich people are the job creators who are making it possible for the middle class have employment. The government is the task master here, not rich folks.

I do not consider myself to be rich. Between a pension from the company where I worked for 32 years, Social Security for my wife and myself, plus a mandatory withdrawal I had to take from my savings, my taxable income for 2010 was $27,897 and my federal taxes were $3344. Two elderly people have to live on that. That's all we have. Each year we see our income remain the same while costs/expenses go up. This year my federal with holding tax on my pension was increased by 39.1 percent and my net pay is 97.55 percent of what it was last year. This is the plight of the elderly on fixed incomes.

Where are the Jobs?????? Good Lord man where are the jobs that wall street has created? Millions of dollars to these crooks and as yet ( probably never) have gone to jail.
Who owns the Government? The wealthy thats who. Every cut the republicans want to make has no impact on the wealthy only the middle class.

I just wanted to highlight this.
Many people with children get more money back from the government than they pay in. Not only do they not pay taxes, they get free money for having children. I have issues with this.

Oh my goodness--the other day I was visiting with some of my cousins, and one of them told me that he and his wife had just gotten *back* $14,000.00 from their taxes. WHAT???? They both work at Wal-Mart and they have 4 kids. There is NO WAY they paid in that amount. They were thrilled about it, of course. Who wouldn't be?????
$14,000.00?????? I'm still shocked.

Wall Street doesn't create the jobs. 70% of all jobs are created by small business owners, people you all consider "rich" and want to tax out of business. If the Obama Admin would stop spending, make real substantial cuts, and drop this Obamacare boondoggle, people with money would hire, expand, develop and grow their businesses. But since this prez keeps the market fearful and uncertain, people remain cautious. Economics 101.
