Perry and Hutchinson were sure throwing some darts in the last debate and Medina is sitting in the middle of it. LOL! Perry has stood by the homeschoolers when CPS tried to get involved pushing against us. All we had to do was call his office and he would listen and act on our side. He's always been very attentive and I can't help but like him.
My biggest beef with Perry is the land he allows to be taken.

I am leaning toward Perry. KBH, forget it. Not voting for her for Gov. Medina I don't know enough about yet.

Right, still not sure about Medina. I'm paying attention though.

Rick Perry’s Enterprise Fund Creating Jobs Overseas?
By Joe Pounder | January 28th, 2010 | (0) Comments | Permalink | ShareThis

With news breaking about Rick Perry’s mismanagement of the Texas Enterprise Fund, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that taxpayer dollars being used for the Fund are actually being sent overseas to create jobs outside of the country. Check out the news below:

The Texas Enterprise Fund paid $51 million to three companies to maintain existing employment, Texans for Public Justice said. And not all jobs were earmarked for Americans, let alone Texans. Portugal-based Martifer Energy Systems, which received nearly $1 million, disclosed in May that 11 of 21 employees for a fund-subsidized plant in San Angelo were awaiting U.S. work visas, the group said. A $4,305 penalty was imposed, the group reported.

I saw this at the top of one the ads posted here at AFF.

I have 2 questions.
1. will Medena be different?
2. What is your view of Perry's actions related to Trans Texas Corridor?

I don't know enough about her, personally, to answer your question. I want to view the clips that Digging posted and see how the debate goes this evening. I posted a clip when I was first introduced to her and I wasn't all that impressed. But, I do agree with Esther that she has gotten better.

From your own words - "Texas has done well in this recession and he has been gov. for a long time. He has done well in getting businesses to come here."

This is why he has a 68% approval rating. Some things are just politics and they will be politics with Medina as well.

Texas is an important state. My vote decision is important and I want to weigh it out a little more. I'm not ready to switch to support Medina, but that doesn't mean that I can't change my mind. As other people have stated in our Texas papers - they are paying more attention to her after the last debate. I am as well.
