And concerning the fall of man, Archie used Scripture to show it was all woman’s fault.
Archie: Don’t go blaming nothing on God that youse women brung on yourselves.
Gloria: What?
Archie: Yes, that’s right. You don’t believe me, read your Bible. Read the story about Adam and Eve there. Adam and Eve, they had it pretty soft out in paradise. They had no problems, they didn’t even know they was naked. But Eve, she wasn’t satisfied with all that, see? And one day against a direct order, she made poor Adam eat that apple. God got sore. He told them, "Get your clothes on and get the hell out of here."
There will never be another Archie, Carroll OConner was perfectly cast. And so was the (Riener) meathead, seems he really is a meatheat in the policitically correct world.

Those mean ol' Baptists. Sounds like a cult to me. How dare they abuse their authority like that!

Those Baptist people use to make you tow the mark too, before they got so liberal.
I was one, so I know. One of the churches was doing some history on a Baptist church, In the minutes they talked about bringing people before the church and withdrawing fellowship from them if they didn’t mend their ways.
And I remember just about the time the Baptist women started wearing their pants to church too. I know a few elders who didn’t out of respect of the House of the Lord, but the majority of them did.
I’ve only been UPC a few years, but I’ve been in a Pentecostal family a long time, and in my estimation the Pentecostals have really let down from the early teaching.

No. I would rather they had a real Christian example doing it rather than a guy who hates Jews and rails on his wife and family all the time.

Pentecost in many areas of the country and fellowships are letting down. Sad but true. But have I can report some are NOT and refuse to leave the old paths. Preaching the holiness of spirit and flesh.

At one time the ACE program did the same. When I first was involved in going to the training at Lewisville, Tx. in the 70's they were telling us NOT to enroll children that had televisions in their homes it was a waste of time to have a Christian school with parents who had televisions. I was tickled there were some liberal Pentecostal pastors there taking the training and the ACE folks were stronger than they.
