Did the rings fall/melt/break/twist off because they were wedding bands or because the were costly gold with fat rocks and what not?

One of the young women who works with me the other day came to me and showed me a ring that was in 5 pieces.

It was made of stone and just split and broke apart while she was wearing it.

I don't know how to explain that. Do any of you?

watches fall apart, earrings fall off, necklaces come apart after wear but for rings to fall off a hand and twist up in an anointed service ??

It was a stone ring. When she showed it to me I thought she must have found the pieces on the floor -- perhaps something that a customer had dropped.

But then she told me it was on her finger and it just came apart in several pieces. No stress, no pressure. She was just wearing it.

I don't think it would be possible to resize a ring made of stone.
