Most people don't get tatoos for anything other than expressing to the world what they feel is important to them or how they view the world around them.
Me too. (bold)

I do know that there are exceptions to every thing. Most of the young people I am aware of that got a tattoo just did it for the novelty of it...nothing more, just that simple. No sinister motive...no unspoken innuendo...

I am glad YOU brought comparing the business world with the church world here, I did this on another thread and seemingly got condescending nonsense because of the comparison...

Moderation is still a buzzword for gutlessness and it is still overused and starts my fire everytime I hear it used.
Philippians 4:5 (Whole Chapter)
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

So Paul was gutless?

I gotta get off this thread. All this imagery is starting to give me a headache. Gonna have to put on some Pink Floyd with Sister Alvear just to get my head on straight again!

I am not defending them...but to think that this generation thinks about them in the way that has been represented on this thread is to really take them out of generational context.

I have talked with several twenty somethings, that really serve God, who had a tattoo before I knew them. They all said, it was just a thing...(in the sense of novelty)...and certainly not what has been presented here as some sexual, sensual, alterior motive declaration...

I believe them.
