It means just what it says, given its the "prophetic" that peaks interests maybe you will see something that will satisfy your interest. If you wanted to hear from God you would have a Pastor but you want to be entertained and maybe you will be.

I’ve been attending this church Wednesdays and Sundays, and Cell group on Thursdays for a month. But, ok. You got me figured out.


I don’t like to be entertained at church. I get upset if a preacher cracks a joke. I’m not kidding. If a guy is labeled or self describes as a prophet then I expect him to be the real deal. It’s not a joking matter.

You don't believe in the 5 fold ministry? I don't think this guy is just saying he's a prophet. Anyone who calls themself a prophet is suspect to me. Even Elder T.W. Barnes didn't call himself one, which he was used in the prophetic by God a lot. So just because evangelist is coming that is very in tuned to the prophetic isn't just saying someone wants to be entertained. My Pastor is used in the prophetic, although we had a evangelist there named Brother Matt Watson, that was there for like 4 months, he was used in the prophetic a lot more. I wouldn't, and I doubt Berkeley is going to go around chasing prophets, that would be someone looking for their ears tickled. I just believe at this time he's looking for a definite direction, and a word from God on how to go about.it. it's part of staying expectant, not from a word from this dude like he has the answer personally, but a word from the Lord for Him. I don't see nothing wrong with that.
