In light of all the other tweets surrounding that one I would think no way would it have been such. It was likely a result of his thoughts on the matter generated in another venue.

FWIW I believe one of the following scenarios are true:
Either the number of one steppers are at an all time high in the UPC
Or
The number of Light Doctrine adherents are huge.
Sometimes it's hard to get a straight answer - especially from ministers. No one wants to be called on the carpet or labeled "soft on the doctrine".

It is ironic that the son of the man largely responsible for the passage of the Affirmation Resolution, now pastors his fathers church, and appears to fully embrace the PCI point of view. Time does change things, and change is very disconcerting to most of us. So, I believe the number of one steppers is huge, and likely the majority.

I believe that view was presented in the Fudge book.

I think it's vital to DKB that the UPCI be perceived as a mainstream organization ... His recent tweets on the doctrine of grace, faith and the Cross all seem to point to this attempt ...
Not sure what the other venue may be .... but the fact that so many of the younger generation of influential preachers seem to be moving to a PCI view may also be pressing on his mind
Yet when it comes down to it ... the Gospel to David Bernard is not what Christ did alone ... it is what we do, as well, in response.
They're inseparable in his mind, as encapsulated in this tweet:
Quote:
To preach the Cross is to preach the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and our appropriation of His work as in Acts 2:38.

NOW - when I read this response, it seems to be swimming in your amazing ability to read someone's mind.
