Nobody warned me about this! lol
I think we're weathering it all right. It definitely takes some sense of humor to get through the day right now though.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message

The other day we had a big thunderstorm.
Melissa sent me this email about Jack:
"Every time it thunders Jack crawls as fast as he can to me and holds on just as tight as he can. It’s cute and sweet but I feel sorry for him, thankfully he has quit crying when he hears the thunder."

Cute stories- My husband tells a story about his son- After a day of mischief Jeff was being taken back to the bedroom for some "instruction". Suddenly, Jeff starts travailng in prayer, begging Jesus to help him and repenting- My husband said it is very hard to spank a praying child!

My puppy does that. I can be sound asleep and all the sudden she's nosing her way under the cover and it wakes me up. Sure enough - there's thunder. The other night it was thundering while I was sitting on the couch and she was next to me and she started shaking - I took the throw and put it over her and she was fine - lol!

Cute stories..............
For the most part my kids were pretty good. My husband was the proverbial "good" child ----I was the "bad" child. My sister was the "good" child and her daughter was the "delight"; what can I say? she got my "kid"!
Grandchildren are even more fun. Now, who can we blame for any "exceptional" behavior?
