Par for the course, my friend...par for the course.

Seriously, aren't you the one who said you went to CLC with my brother?

I am in the Pine Bluff area.

I am in the Bryant-Benton area, this has been one my better years financialy but I see the clouds ahead and am not looking forward to next year.

My goals for next year are more personal than financial ... I intend on getting back in shape and strengthening my walk with God.

BTW. I coach the boys and girls basketball teams for our christian school, we will be coming to Pine Bluff convention center for 3 days for State Tournaments in Feb. maybe (with AFF permission of course) we could grab a cup of coffee..

That would be great. We will compare notes as the time gets closer.

I have personal goals I am working on as well... I still have at least that much to go again... but over the last 3 years or so I have lost 120 lbs. (Having a garden helps a lot... and raising animals.)

Since you coach basketball... should we find time to grab a cup of coffee (glass of iced tea for me please. ) I will definitely be the big guy at the table.

What line of work are you in that brought you success in 2008?

I will be tightening up the stops on my stocks to keep my losses low, and I'll loosen up the stops when I'm riding the upward trends.

I think that we won't start to come out of the recession until next Fall.

The other shoe will drop by the second week in January concerning real estate, as the commercial real estate market comes close to collapse as more and more businesses go under, and their buildings remain vacant.

It will get worse before it gets better!

You did good selling pianos in 2008?

I had a very good year mainly because a college in our area (Martin Methodist College) bought 12 new Steinways for their new music building. One lady came forward with $400,000 to purchase the pianos. This lady is also purchasing a $100,000+ piano for herself this weekend!

Mrs. Steinway also had a very good year with her people doing 105% of plan.

As I stated, I don't think we can match that again next year! (2009)

What are your hopes for 2009?
More people receive the true salvation message
Any Predictions? Prophecies? That more missionary opportunities will open for the church than ever before and Jesus will cause his people to prosper and walk in faith regardless of the economy

Do you think the economy will get better or worse? [COLOR="red"]I don't see the economy stopping the flow of the gospel ever so its not a concern. Jesus is our God and He always provides.[COLOR="red"]
Will we see a revival in the land or continue spiritual decline in America?I think this year has been on of revival. There have always been poor in the world and sinners. I think America is so blessed because much money from our pockets flow into the world rescuing others from hungar an horrror. I don't equate what the media posts about us as truth. Those I know ministering are being blessed and taking out of what God blesses them with to minister grace in the world. I remember that many are making a personal ministry of helping others such as Sister Yohe who posts here and Sister Alvear and Sis. Sherry just to name a few of you. Jesus still has the word to back Him up and we reap what we sow. Those however who are stingy and refuse to do God's will in the earth I see losing what they have and it be given to those who are willing to work for Jesus

How do you think Obama will do? will the honeymoon end in 2009?I don't feel like any man is a concern. The book of Daniel proves that. God does what He wants in the kingdom of man regardless of the power of that man

Any other personal goals or thoughts are welcome too.
It is my personal goal this year to increase what talents I have to bless the Kingdom of God and do His will for my life. When doors open I will step through and as they close I will step out.

reading this, my first thought is, 09 has to be better because I felt like I was caught in the middle when the doors opened and closed... lol... got hit both ways! Maybe this year I'll actually get on the other side of the door! lol!

In all seriousness, I agree with you! I know God holds my future and I think it's time for God's children to stand up and be blessed........ no matter what tomorrow looks like...!

I feel maybe like this year I will be stepping through door after door. Jesus is wanting to do a work in the earth and if we want to work for Him then the doors will open.
