Never have been a fan of hers and never will be... She is pretty much the devil remade!

I was a big fan of Juanita when I was trinity Pentecost... I saw her preach at her home church in Maryland, though, back in Dec. 2002, and after that my opinion of her changed. Her and her husbands were crazy control freaks. Everyone had to wear an apron to church to show they were servants (but I don't remember if she wore one or not)... She cut up a mom with a fussing child during service. Service was four and a half hours and the HG still didn't move any. She was making people bring notes in to explain why they might have missed a service, AND she was implementing a card-swipping thing whereby it'd be tracked if people were late and missing and not bringing in notes, and this way she'd recommend them to another church. She mentioned some $1000+ watch she had on during service. And then she downed some blue Gatorade after shouting and preaching some and being thirsty and the whole church clapped when she got it down in one gulp, you know like chugging! Anyways, it was crazy and I'd never go back to that mess. But that church of her's is probably closed now that her and her husband are divorced.

Its just really sad, I used to enjoy her preaching very much- but now I do not want to listen to anything she has to say--I think she is the result of what happens when we give ministers celebrity status, it brings pride.

The apron thing lasted for more than a year?! LOL, I can't believe they still kept up with that... Did you go to the church in Maryland? How was it?

I just recieved an almost identical letter from a Tulsa Org. called stMathews Church.

They sent a "paper" prayer rug to kneel on and then i MUST send it back to them.

Of course there is a place to check off needs that I have to send in SEED MONEY.

I have no doubt that many elderly folks are being fleeced out of money that they don't havde to spare.

The people who send these mailings out have no fear of God whatsoever.

I got that ame letter and prayer rug. I wondered how I got on their mailing list - I have never heard of them.
